Fish Passage at Saccarappa Falls

Westbrook Environmental Improvement Corporation (WEIC) allocated funds to contract with specialized professionals to assist the City in their negotiations with Sappi over the design and permitting of the required fish passage at Saccarrapa Falls. The City is committed to environmentally sound fish passage, dam removal, restoration of habitat and recreational enhancements in the river all geared toward the revitalization of downtown.
