News and Updates:

(1/23/23) Due to the inclement weather, part of the Monday trash and recycling route will be collected tomorrow (Tuesday). If you live on any of the following major roads or on a street off one of these roads and did not receive pick up today, please pull your bins back from the curb and put them back out before 7 am tomorrow:
Rt. 302
Duck Pond Road
Brook Street
If you do not live on one of these sections but did not receive collection, please call Casella at 464-0049.

Message From the Director

Our goal is to strive for the continued betterment and enhanced quality of life within our community and in service to the citizens of Westbrook with quality, innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

The Public Services Department provides a safe and enjoyable environment for the City of Westbrook through construction, operation and maintenance of municipal service systems. This work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Drainage system construction and maintenance
  • Fall and spring clean up
  • Residential waste management
  • Roadside and municipal property mowing
  • Street and sidewalk maintenance
  • Winter street and sidewalk maintenance

In addition, Public Services provides support and service for various civic functions such as the food bank, Westbrook Together Days and concerts in the park.
