Alewives make their way upstream annually from Casco Bay through Mill Brook to Highland Lake to reproduce. It is a phenomenal journey through the quiet woods of Westbrook, Maine. Thanks to the Presumpscot Regional Land Trust and the City of Westbrook, there are miles of trails accessible through multiple trailheads just minutes away from Downtown Westbrook.
